Specially Useful In Air Raids .
A fire - proof suit which actually plays a part in fighting flames and which has been especially designed for use in case of air raids was demonstrated at the German Munincipal Exhibition in Berlin . The suit encloses the wearer from head to toe , the top of the helmet ejecting a powerful spray of water . This makes it possible for the fire - fighter to get much closer to the blaze than usual .
