Caption: The shape of things that have come to break records.
Two of the ultramodern streamlined Auto Union, DKW, motorcycles, which are taking part in the international record week on the German motor row between Frankfurt on Main and Darmstadt. The extreme designer of these machines gives them the appearance of enormous drops of liquid which have been frozen. The machine on left is a combination model, but owing to the great speed at which it travels, ballast replaces the sidecar rider.
